Clara K. Reed
age 94 of Malvern, passed away Saturday July 18, 2009 in Mercy Medical Center following a brief illness. She was born July 28, 1914 in Malvern, to the late Andrew and Margaret (Sorg) Singer. Clara was a life resident of Malvern and a 1932 graduate of Malvern High School. She was a life member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church where she was active in the Catholic Womeni�½s Club and was a member of the Malvern Historical Society. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Harold G. Reed; one sister, Mary Schneider; four brothers, Harry, Paul, Walter and the well known artist, Clyde Singer. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Marcella and George Tokos of Malvern; one son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Martha Reed of Malvern; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday July 23, 2009 at 11:00am in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with Fr. Victor Cinson as celebrant. Internment in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery. Friends may call one hour before services on Thursday at the church (10-11am). In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the New Organ Fund at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 125 S.
