Christine D. Lowery, age 48, of Canton died unexpectedly in her home January 1, 2009. Born September 29, 1960 in Canton to William R. and Geneva A. (Sprankle) Lowery. She was a life resident of the Canton area and a graduate of Sandy Valley High School. Christine was a member of numerous animal rescue organizations. Preceded in death by her fiancée, Edward W. Imiola, Jr. Survived by her parents, William and Geneva Lowery of East Sparta; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Cindy Narduzzi of Canton, Kathy and Jesse James of Columbus, Sharon and James Cunningham of Navarre; three nieces, Sara Lowery of Texas, Ashlee Narduzzi of Canton, Taylor Cunningham of Navarre; one nephew, Tory Cunningham of Navarre. A private family service will take place at a later date; there will be no public services. Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
When I come to the end of my journey
And I travel my last weary mile
Just forget if you can, that I ever frowned
And remember only the smile
Forget unkind words I have spoken
Remember the good I have done
Forget that I ever had heartache
And remember I've had loads of fun
Forget that I've stumbled and blundered
And sometimes fell by the way
Remember I've fought some hard battles and won,
Ere the close of the day
Then forget to grieve for my going,
I would not have you sad for a day
But in summer just gather some flowers
And remember the place where I lay
And come in the shade of evening
When the sun paints the sky in the west
Stand for a few moments beside me
And remember only my best.
