Cheryl A. Homer

Cheryl A. Homer, age 66, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2023.

She was born on April 25, 1957 in Canton, Ohio to Paul & Betty (Kalinouski) Robertson.

Cheryl graduated from Canton South High School, worked as a dental assistant for 33 years and later attended National Beauty College where she received her certification as a nail technician and found her true passion. Every client and coworker Cheryl worked with became a cherished friend. Her vibrant personality and loving heart touched the lives of everyone she met.

She loved making quilts, visiting craft fairs, riding the motorcycle with her husband, and spending time outdoors with her family, especially by the campfire.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 46 years and love of her life, David Homer, whom she married March 26, 1977; Kyle (Kelsea) Homer; beloved cat Milo; sister Debbie (Steve) Schaefer; nieces Paula & Shawna; great nieces, Bailey & Avery; great nephew Jordan; cousins Sandy (Terry) Babe, Ockie & Oliver Carpenter; close family friends Aaron (Brandi) Good, Vivian (Steve) VanVoorhis, Caitlin Walsh.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, David Robertson.

A celebration of life will be held at Faircrest Park, 1000 Faircrest Street SW, Canton, OH 44706 on Saturday, September 30, 2023.  Visitation will be from 2-4pm with a service beginning at 4pm.
