Charlotte D. Meldrum
Age 74, of East Canton, passed away Monday November 5, 2012 in Aultman Hospital. She was born August 26, 1938 in Louisville, KY to the late William Earl and Mary Susan Murphy. She was an East Canton resident for the past eight years. Charlotte retired from Mead Westvaco Corporation in 2003 after 12 years of service and was an avid quilter. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Meldrum in 2003; her twin sister, Shirley Kraft; twin great-grandchildren. She is survived by four children and spouses, Teresa and Roy Wachter of Indianapolis, IN, William "Doug" Hester of Louisville, OH, Pam and Charles Hill of Canton, Diana Cain of East Canton; eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, William Earl "Bill" and Cheryl Murphy of Louisville, KY. Funeral services will be Saturday November 10, 2012 at 4:00pm in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton. Friends may call 1-4pm on Saturday. A private family inurnment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation at 811 West Evergreen Ave., Suite 204, Chicago, IL 60642.
