Charlotte A. Holdsworth-Schneider
Age 80, of Canton, went to be with her Lord on her birthday, March 31, 2010 in Hennis Care Center. She was born March 31, 1930 in Coshocton, OH to the late Walter Coulter and Hannah (Hook) Marlatt. She was a Canton area resident since 1951, retiring from Canton Local Schools after 25 years of service. She was a member of Mt. Zion Community Church and a 38-year member of North Industry Christian Church, where she served as a Sunday school teacher and choir member. Member of Pike Grange, Melody Makers, Scarlett Ladies Red Hat Society; she was president of the Friendly Squares and charter member and treasurer of the Red Lantern Flames. Charlotte served as a volunteer at Aultman Hospital for many years. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Raymond L. Holdsworth in 1991. She is survived by her husband, Arthur L. Schneider, to whom she was married nine years; two daughters and sons-in-law, Marsha and Tom Hall of Hustonville, KY, Myla and Bill Daniels of Canton; one son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Janice Holdsworth of Zoar; six grandchildren, Nate and Kathryn Hall, Kristen Smith, Lauren and Adam Holdsworth and Olivia Daniels; one great-granddaughter, Hallee; five stepchildren, thirteen step grandchildren and five step great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Monday, April 5, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the North Industry Christian Church with Steve Kimbrel officiating. Interment in Prairie Chapel Cemetery, Coshocton, OH on Monday at 3:00pm. Friends may call Sunday, 6-9 p.m. in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave. and one hour before services at the church on Monday (10-11 a.m.). Memorial donations may be made to In-House Hospice at 1530 W. Market St., Akron, OH 44313.
