Charles F. Steffen

Age 82, of Canton died Thursday, November 29, 2018 in Altercare of Nobles Pond following an extended illness. Born June 20, 1936 in Canton, Ohio to the late John C. and Ladean M. (Vogt) Steffen. He was a life resident of Canton and a U.S Army veteran. Charles was formerly employed by the Dyneer Corporation. He attended Arlington Ave Church of God. Preceded in death by a sister, Donna Jean Steffen; son-in-law, Mickey Cladas; two grandchildren, Zach Steffen and Jennifer Christy. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Linda J. (Gardner) Steffen; four children and spouses, Pamela and Daniel Moody, Shelly Cladas, Cliff and Nickie Christy, Charles E. and Sharon Steffen; ten grandchildren; three brothers and sisters-in-law, John, Ronald and Alberta, Fred and Gloria Steffen; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Monday, Dec. 3, 2018 at 11:00 am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave with Pastor Webb Parsons officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Monday from 10 – 11 am.
