Charles E. Rupert
Age 84, of Carrollton, OH. died Friday, August 10, 2012 in the Cleveland Clinic. Born July 5, 1928 in Alexandria, PA. to the late George Sr. and Edna (Keller) Rupert. He was a Carrollton resident since 2008 and formerly resided in Canada for 26 years. Charles was formerly employed as a carpenter for George Bordner for many years and was formerly the owner/operator of White Birch Lodge. Preceded in death by two sons, Danny and Wes Rupert and two sisters. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Joyce A. (McGinnis) Rupert; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff and Lynn Rupert of Massillon, Donald and Karen Rupert of Phoenix, AZ; one daughter, Virginia Baxter of Canton; two daughters-in-law, Judy Rupert of Alexandria, PA. and Sheryl Rupert of Canton; seven grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; two brothers, George Rupert Jr. of Kentucky and Dick Rupert of Petersburg, PA; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Aug 15, 2012 at 1:00 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. with Pastor Dianna Thompson officiating. Friends may call Tuesday from 6-8 pm. Inurnment in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
