Charles F. Oliver, Sr., age 57, of Canton, passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2005, with his loving family by his side. Preceded in death by his parents, Mirrel and Mildred Oliver; sister, Carol Fenstemker; brother, Mirrel Oliver, Jr. Survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Patricia (Smith) Oliver; seven children, Patricia (Gary) Randall, Charles Oliver, Jr., Charlotte (Mark) Manns, Tina (Scott) Randall, Teddy Oliver (Kim Boone), Joe Oliver (Denise Brewer), Brian Oliver (Tera Swogger); three brothers, Gary (Sandy) Fenstemaker, Melvin (Stephanie) Oliver, Tim (Lois) Oliver; one sister, Sandy (Butch) Darby; 16 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and three very special friends of the family who were like sons to him, Kenny "Boog" Boone, Adam Stewart and Mike Stutler; many neighborhood kids whom he loved and enjoyed. Funeral services will be Monday, August 22, 2005, at 10 a.m. in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave., with Rev. G.K. Irwin officiating. Interment in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Sunday 2-4 p.m.
