Charles E Humphrey

Charles Humphrey passed on March 2, 2025, surrounded by his brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews at Salem Medical Center. His loving personality and his "Elvis" wink will be remembered by all who knew him. He loved making his signature walking sticks and was proud to sell them and give them away. 

Chuck also loved traveling with his sister Sandy and their dog Phoebe, he enjoyed several trips across the country to visit his brother Ron and sister-in-law Linda. 

Chuck was a member of Center Church and was loved by so many there. He loved serving as an usher and during church he was always ready to help. 

He was preceded in death by parents and brothers, Kenneth and James Humphrey.

Chuck’s memory will be cherished by brother, Ron (Linda) Humphrey; sisters, Nancy (James) Latza, Sandra Humphrey, and Darlene (Craig) Laubender, as well as his nieces, nephews and many friends. He will be missed especially by his special friend Marsha, and his pals Ray, Jeff, and Matt. 

A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 7th at 12:00 p.m. at the Center Church of the Brethren (2811 Ravenna Ave, Louisville, OH 44641). Friends and family may gather one hour prior to the service, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., to pay their respects. 

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to GiGi’s Playhouse Canton, an organization dedicated to children who have Down Syndrome, 4061 Bradley Cir NW, Canton, OH 44718. 

A heartfelt thank you is extended to the Close staff at Circle of Care in Salem, Salem Medical Center ICU staff, and Matt Cowls, who was a faithful friend and took Chuck and his friends for a "guys night out".
