Charlene Gallagher
Age 75, of Canton died Thursday, December 9, 2010 in the Laurels of Massillon following a brief illness. Born February 21, 1935 in Blairsville, GA. to the late Van and Nina (Reece) Harkins. She was a Canton area resident for the past 48 years and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Canton. Preceded in death by her husband, Donald Gallagher in 1997; one brother, Hobert Harkins; two sisters, Evelyn Harkins and Faye Miller. Survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Greg Wernet of Canton; two grandchildren and spouses, David and Sarah Wernet of Canton, Katie and Joe Sedon of Dayton; one great granddaughter, Samantha Wernet of Canton; numerous other family, friends and neighbors. Funeral services will be Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010 at 9:30 am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with Fr. Benson Okpara officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call Friday (Tonight) from 6:30 – 8:30 pm.
