Cecil J. Toalston

Age 93, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday May 23, 2018 in Brenn-Field Nursing Center, Orrville, OH. He was born May 2, 1925 in Carroll County to the late Alfred and Orah (Jolley) Toalston. Cecil was a Louisville resident since 1968, prior to which he had resided in East Canton. Cecil retired from Stark Ceramics in 1990 after 35 years of service and was an active member of St. Paul’s Community Christian Church. He is preceded in death by his wife, Virginia L. Toalston in 2018; one grandson, Joshua Wesley Toalston; one brother, Clifford Toalston. Cecil is survived by two children, John (Ellen) Toalston of Orrville and Mary Summerfield of Alliance; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; one brother, Melvin Toalston; two sisters, Alice Baker and Mabel Hudak. Funeral services will be Saturday May 26, 2018 at 11:00am in St. Paul’s United Community Christian Church with Pastor Ed Dickerhoof officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery, Minerva. Friends and family will be received Friday (tonight) 6-8pm in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton and one hour before services on Saturday at the church (10-11am).
