Cecil H. Reed
Cecil H. Reed, age 75, of East Canton, passed away August 17, 2008 in his sleep, in his home following a brief illness. He was born March 10, 1933 in Rockport, WV, to the late Morgan C. and Leanna (Henthorn) Reed. Cecil dearly loved staying busy and truly enjoyed working at DiPietro Excavating Company until his retirement in 2007 after 22 years of service. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Raymond Reed. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn (McAdow) Reed to whom he was married 36 years; two sons, Tom (Judy Tyson) Reed of Zanesville, OH, Jody (Rita) Reed of Trinway, OH; one daughter, Kathy Carson of Newark, OH; three sisters, Betty (Roy) Cuzzens of Newark, OH, Hazel Lauvary of Coshocton, OH, Dorothy Bennett of Florida; two sons and a daughter from his extended family, Ray (Vicki) Butler, Dale (Dawn) Butler, Chrissandra (Jim) Wilcox; 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Thursday August 21, 2008 at 2:00pm in the Myers-Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home. Friends may call Wednesday 6-8pm and one hour before services on Thursday (1-2pm).
