Cecil C. "Dusty" Burchett
Age 81, of Paris, OH, passed away Monday December 3, 2012. He was born February 23, 1931 in Marietta, OH to the late Elmo and Mary (Newlen) Burchett. Cecil was a Korean War Marine Corps veteran having served in the 1st Division. He was a resident of Paris for 55 years and retired from Republic Steel in 1976 after 25 years of service. He was a member of Minerva Church of the Nazarene and Minerva Eagles aerie# 2199. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Judith Burchett in 2007; son, Timothy Burchett; infant daughter, Annette K. Burchett; brother, Dale Burchett; sister, Louise Giles. He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Barbara Burchett of Minerva; twin daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy and Michael Crowl of Paris, Kathy and Jeffrey Lint of East Canton; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Friday December 7, 2012 at 11:00am in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Pastor Tim Hawkins officiating. Interment with military honors will be in Mapleton Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday 5-8pm and one hour before services on Friday (10-11am).
