Cathy D. Mathews
Age 65, of Canton, passed away Wednesday April 5, 2017 in Aultman Compassionate Care Center. She was born October 18, 1951 in Canton to the late Martin and June (Reed) Hawkins. She was a life resident of Canton and a 1969 graduate of Canton South High School. Cathy was a member of the Cathedral of Life Church. She is survived by her husband, James E. Mathews to whom she was married 47 years; 2 daughters and sons-in-law; Tina and Martin DeSimone, Carla and Harley Larch; 4 grandchildren; Brittany (Justin) Hattery, Brock (Karli) Slish, Kayla (Dillon) Zachocki, and Aleah Larch; 3 great grandchildren; Makenna Larch-Thompson, Preston Slish, Liam Zachocki; one sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Robert Hoover. Friends will be received Friday April 7, 2017 from 6-8pm in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton. All other services will be private for the family only.
