Catherine V. Walters
Age 89, of Canton, passed away Sunday November 27, 2011 in Mercy Medical Center. She was born March 21, 1922 in Cleveland, OH to the late Clifford and Vacy (Riegle) Musser. During WWII Catherine proudly served as a Rosie the Riveter in Republic Steel Aircraft Division. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Lewis Walters in 1985; two brothers and two sisters. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Wayne King of Canton; two sons and daughters-in-law, John and Sharyn Walters of N. Canton, Terry and Lillie Walters of Canton; nine grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Thursday December 1, 2011 at 1:00pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home. Interment will be in Henry Warstler Cemetery. Friends may call one hour before services (12-1pm).
