Carrie M. Montague, age 98, of Canton died Friday, January 18, 2008 in Altercare of Navarre following an extended illness. Born October 31, 1909 in Canton to the late Rudolph and Carrie (Lehman) Clauser. She was a life resident of the Canton area and member of North Industry United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, James Montague in 1997; two sisters, Helen Davis and Ruth Brodin; four brothers, William, Rudy, Charles and Robert Clauser. Survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Helen Montague of Canton, James and Joyce Montague of Arizona; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Esther and Emzy Cornett of Hudson, FL, Elsie and John Miller of East Sparta; numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at 11:00 am in the chapel at Forest Hill Cemetery with Ed Barnes officiating. Interment in Forest Hill Cemetery. Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
