Carole Ann Stough
Age 72, of Minerva died Monday, July 4, 2016 in Country Lawn Nursing Home following an extended illness. Born July 17, 1943 in Gallipolis, OH to the late William and Ida (Scott) Knowles. She was a Minerva resident for the past 45 years and formerly employed by Merritt Plastics and McDonald’s in Minerva. Preceded in death by her husband, Barry Roger Stough in 2015; a nephew, Billy Knowles; a niece, Abbey Knowles. Carole is survived by one son, Michael Mong of North Carolina; one daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and Larry James of Carrollton; one granddaughter, Jessica Mong of Minerva; one grandson, Ryan James of Carrollton; two brothers and sister-in-law, William Knowles, David and Mari Jo Knowles all of Perry Township. Funeral services will be Friday, July 8, 2016 at 2:30 pm in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Terry Bailey officiating. Interment in Mapleton Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Friday from 1:30 – 2:30 pm.
