Carol A. Talbott
Left this life to begin another on July 16, 2010. She was born April 2, 1939 on the family farm on Miday Rd in East Canton to the late Bob and Mary Ellen (Miller) Weirough. Carol was a life resident of East Canton. She was employed as a secretary for The Timken Roller Bearing Company and retired from Sugardale Foods after 35 years of service. She was a life member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ where she had served as a Sunday school teacher and secretary for the Ministry of Growth and Nurture until her death. She was a member of the Osnaburg Historical Society and two Red Hat, Purple Dress Societies. She served as a former Blue Bird and Camp Fire Girls Leader and assisted with the Girl Scouts. The gift of caring friends went a long way to help her fight the odds; the employees of Sugardale Foods/Freshmark Inc., Drs. Dina Rooney and Arnold Rosenblatt, lifelong friends from the class of 57, members of St. Paul's UCC and Living Hope Church and special friend and caregiver, Roberta Moulin. She is survived by her husband, Leonard L. Talbott; four daughters and sons-in-law, Penny and Doug Mobberley of Minerva, Wendy Talbott of East Canton, Shelly and Greg Roubanes of N. Lawrence, Sherry and Chuck McCauley of Canton; five grandchildren, Taryn, Brianna and Lauren McCauley, Elisabeth and Matthew Mobberley; one sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Jeff Collins of East Canton; one brother and sister-in-law, William and Susan Weirough of Sun Prairie, WI.
