Carlos Samuel Deel
Carlos Samuel Deel, age 79, of East Sparta, passed away Saturday March 29, 2008 in Mercy Medical Center following an extended illness. He was born December 1, 1928 in Barrencreek, WV, to the late Rome and Ora (Myers) Deel. He was an East Sparta resident for the past 55 years, retiring from White Star Trucking in 1993 after 30 years of service. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Gertrude "Jerri" Deel to whom he was married 51 years and who passed away Thursday, March 27, 2008; three brothers, Clyde, Carl and Charles Deel; three sisters, Nora Reed, Leatha Hershberger and Gertrude Cobb. He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Phillip and Regina Beabout of Canton South; two grandchildren and a spouse, Michael and Amy Beabout of Albuquerque, NM, Phillip Wayne Beabout of San Diego, CA; two great grandchildren, Seth and Zachary Beabout of Albuquerque, NM; two sisters, Faye Jarrett and May Lipscomb both of Clendenin, WV; numerous nieces, nephews and many great friends. Funeral services will be Tuesday April 1, 2008 at 10:00am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with Steve Kimbrel officiating. Interment in Melscheimer Cemetery.
