Carl Edward Hein

Age 71 passed away of complications from surgery on December 15, 2018 in Cleveland, OH. Carl is survived by his wife and high school sweetheart of 48 years, Penny; his two sons, Brian (Lanie) and Scott (Dannielle); his grandchildren Dakota, Hope, Joey and Abby; five brothers; three sisters and his many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father and mother. Carl was born on September 23, 1947 in Canton OH. He was a 1967 graduate of Canton South High School where he played many sports. He established Hein Construction with his brother, Jeff, in 1990 where he spent many years doing something he loved. He retired due to illness in 2016. He was a great family man and a loving father. Carl dearly enjoyed the outdoors. He found the most joy in hunting, fishing, and spending time at his cabin, especially when accompanied by his family. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and papa. His family always came first in his life. He will be greatly and dearly missed. Friends and family will be received Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2018 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. Funeral services will be private.
