Carl A. Fisher
Age 72, of Canton died Saturday, June 29, 2013 in Aultman Compassionate Care Center following an extended illness. Born November 29, 1940 in Dailey, WV to the late Oscar and Sadie (Sites) Fisher. He was a Canton resident most of his life and a U.S. Air Force veteran serving during Vietnam. Carl was a retired postal carrier with the U.S. Postal Service with 42 years of service. He loved his church and was active with all the activities. Preceded in death by two brothers, Daniel and Howard Fisher; one sister, Jan Sturgis. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Linda L. (Irwin) Fisher; one daughter, Michelle Fisher of Texas; one grandson, Chase Fisher of Canton; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Edna and Pete Barrick of Springhill, FL., Grace and Jennings Swecker of Elyria, OH., Ileta and Marty Monahan of Scranton, PA., Judy and Pat Rometta of Tampa, FL; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill Fisher of Canton, Harold and Charlotte Fisher of Louisville, Bob and Jean Fisher of Louisville; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at 10:00 am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. with Pastor Joel Donahue officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call Tuesday from 6-8 pm.
