Blanche "Patsy" Davis
Blanche "Patsy" Davis, age 79, of East Canton, went home to be with the Lord Sunday evening December 3, 2006 in St. Joseph Care Center following an extended illness. She was born June 18, 1927 to the late Franklin and Lillian (Zumkur) Slusser. She was a life resident of East Canton, a graduate of McKinley High School and had attended Cleveland Bible College. Blanche and her husband, Charles, owned and operated the East Canton Bakery for many years. Blanche was a member of the East Canton Church of God, she loved the Lord and it was demonstrated in the way she lived her life for Him, as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Harlan Russell Peffer; one brother and two sisters. She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Charles "Bucky" Davis; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Douglas Peffer, Dennis and Ila Peffer; two step sons, Chuck and Danny Davis; 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; two brothers and six sisters. A memorial service will be Friday December 8, 2006 at 11:00am in the East Canton Church of God with Pastor James L. Snyder officiating. The Myers-Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Women of the Church of God at 201 E.
