Blake J. Lambert Jr
Age 72, of North Canton died Friday, August 7, 2015 in Mercy Medical Center following an extended illness. Born September 12, 1942 in Benbush, WV. to the late Blake J. Sr. and Gertrude (Weaver) Lambert. He was a 1961 graduate of Malvern High School and a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran. Blake retired from the Hoover Company with 40 years of service. He was a former member of the East Canton Police Auxiliary, an avid hunter and enjoyed participating in the annual Great Trail Festival in Malvern. Preceded in death by two brothers, John and Kenneth Lambert; one sister, Peggy Ritchey. He is survived by his former wife, Margaret Lambert; seven children and spouses, Randy Lambert of Baumholder, Germany, James and Tammy Lambert of Minerva, Kristine Phillips of Alliance, Blake J. Lambert III of North Canton, Joshua and Jennifer Lambert of Louisville, Jake Lambert of North Canton, Katrina Lambert of Canton; eight grandchildren; three sisters, Jean (Paul) Wyler of East Canton, Linda (Daniel) Walters of Elkins, WV, Beverly (Thomas) Malow of Huttonsville, WV; one brother, Jack (Linda) Lambert of Wheatridge, CO; numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call Sunday from 5 – 7 pm in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton.
