Billy D. Steigerwald, age 72, of Canton, died at his home Wednesday morning, September 22, 2004. Born in North Industry, Ohio, September 28, 1931, son of the late Carl R. and Mary(Totton) Steigerwald. He was a life resident of the Canton area; retiring from LTV Steel after 34 years of service. He loved camping at Atwood Lake Campgrounds. Survived by his wife, Shirley P. (Kauffman) to whom he's been married for 51 years; two sons and daughters-in-law, Gregory and Vivian Steigerwald of Canton, Thomas and Cheryl Steigerwald of East Canton; 14 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Carl and Norma Steigerwald of Circleville, OH; sister, Carol Marlor of Magnolia. Graveside services will be Saturday, September 25, 2004 at 10 am in Sunset Hills Burial Park with Rev. Dr. Kline L. Roberts III officiating. Friends may call Friday 6-8 pm in the Myers-Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Aultman Hospice Program, 2821 Woodlawn NW, Canton, Ohio 44708.
