Billy M. Barnett
Billy M. Barnett, age 82, of East Canton, died Friday August 26, 2005 in Altercare of Louisville following an extended illness. Son of the late Hubert and Ethel (Adkins) Barnett. He was an East Canton area resident for the past 27 years, retiring from the Timken Company in 1983 after 35 years of service. He had attended Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church and was a member of Golden Lodge, Mayfield Senior Citizens Center and East Canton AARP. Billy was a WWII Army veteran. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, D. Wavey Barnett and one brother, Clifford Barnett. He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Cathy Province of Canton, Charles and Tina Province of East Canton; three grandchildren, Paisley, Trey and Gina Province; two brothers, Marshall and Donald Diaz; two sisters, Delores Houtchins and Juanita Perry. Graveside services will be Wednesday, August 31, 2005 at 1:00pm in Union Cemetery, Louisville, with Terry Bailey officiating. The Myers-Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
