Bill E. Sturms
Age 69, of East Canton, passed away Tuesday November 9, 2010 in Mercy Medical Center. He was born February 15, 1941 in Montrose, WV to the late Aubrey and Lillian (Phillips) Sturms. Bill was an East Canton resident for the past 14 years and retired from Dayton Freight Lines Inc in 2008 after 15 years. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by six brothers and three sisters. He is survived by his wife, Carol J. (Knepper) to whom he was married 47 years; three daughters and sons-in-law, Diane and Jim Pelley of Wellsville, OH, Wendy and Eugene Fankhauser Jr. of Louisville, Erine and Chris Bodo of Perry Township; seven grandchildren, Matthew, Tyler, Emily, Madison, Evan, Aubry and Macy; his companion canine, Cha-Cha; two brothers and four sisters. Funeral services will be Saturday November 13, 2010 at 10:00am in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Terry Bailey officiating. Interment in Mapleton Cemetery. Friends may call Friday 6-8pm.
