Bill Carter
Age 86, of Canton died Saturday June 28, 2014 in Bethany Nursing Home following an extended illness. Born October 17, 1927 in Akron, Ohio to the late James and Dillie (Etter) Livingston. He was a Canton resident most of his life and a WWII U.S. Air Force veteran. Bill retired from Ohio Power Company with 40 years of service. He was a member of Canton Baptist Temple. Preceded in death by one son, Gary Lynn Carter; a twin brother, Bob Carter; two sisters, Juanita Ayers and Lucille Vannoy. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Grace Louise (Crisp) Carter; one son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Georgia Carter of Canton; one daughter-in-law, Pam Carter of Canton; five grandchildren, April (Mike) Teis, Jared Carter, Kim Carter, Ashley (Matt) Stuchel, Meredith Carter; one sister-in-law, Eva Mae Carter. Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at 10:00 am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave with Rev. Delaney Young officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call Tuesday from 6 – 8 pm. Memorial donations may be made to Canton Baptist Temple or The Summit Church in Green.
