Beverly D. Henderson
Beverly D. Henderson, age 72, of Carrollton, died Tuesday, November 2, 2004 in Carroll Healthcare Center. She was a resident of Carrollton for the past 13 years, prior to which she had resided in the Canton area most of her life. Born in Canton, May 1, 1932 to the late Albert G. and Mildred (Staneart) Manist. A 1950 graduate of McKinley High School and was employed by the Hoover Co. for five years. She helped organize and was a life member of the Osnaburg Township Historical Society and was a homemaker with an avid interest in gardening, dried flowers, nature, art and antiques. Member of Kilgore Evangelical Church where she served as Secretary of church council and Secretary/Treasurer of the Women's Group. Member of the Carroll County Art's Commission and Concerned Women for America. Survived by her husband D.E. "Sam" Henderson to whom she celebrated 50 years of marriage on July 10, 2004. Two sons and daughters-in-law; Bradley S. and Susan Henderson of Canfield, OH, Brian F. and Pamela Henderson of Gahanna, OH, four grandchildren; Samuel, Luke, Sarah and Rachel Henderson, one sister, Alanna Bush and one brother, Ronald A. Manist. Funeral services will be Saturday at 10:00am in Myers-Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Pastor Terry Will officiating. Interment in Union Cemetery, East Canton. Friends may call Friday 5-8pm, in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Kilgore Evangelical Church Women's Group at 8114 Germano Rd SE., Amsterdam, OH 43903.
