Betty J. Tallman
Age 90, of East Canton, passed away Monday December 11, 2017 in her home. She was born April 14, 1927 in Power, WV to the late Criss and Bessie (Ward) Eckelberry. Betty was a member of the East Canton Church of God where she formerly served as a Sunday school teacher and was active with the Women of the Church of God. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Betty is survived by her husband, Jennings M. Tallman to whom she was married 68 years; four children, James (Sharon) Tallman, Gregory (Debra) Tallman, Ronald (Theresa) Tallman and Laura Shafer (Ken Gilbertson); 16 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Friday December 15, 2017 at 11:00am in the East Canton Church of God with Pastor Greg Smith officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends and family will be received Thursday 6-8pm in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton and one hour before services on Friday at the church (10-11am).
