Betty J. Nelson, age 75, of Canton died Tuesday March 8, 2005 in Aultman Hospital following a sudden illness. Born in Canton on June 19, 1929 to the late Vernon and Mary (Rosche) Walter. She was a life resident of the Canton area and a retired licensed pratical nurse from the Canton Christian Home. Member of the First Lutheran Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Paul R. Nelson in 2004; three infant children; 2 sisters, Mary Jo Brandenburg and Barbara Payne. Survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Paulette Nelson of Canton, Sandra and Richard Kimble of Alliance; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Dr. Larry and Cindy Nelson of Central, SC., Vernon Nelson of Canton; Five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, William and Bella Walter of CA. Funeral services will be Friday March 11, 2005 at 1:00pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. with Pastor George Keeler oficiating.Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call two hours before the service on Friday (11:00 - 1:00pm).
