Betty M. Murphy

Age 71, of Canton passed away Wednesday January 6, 2021 in Aultman Hospital. She was born September 25, 1949 in Canton to the late Victor and Helen (Johnson) Petersen. Betty was a 1967 graduate of Timken Vocational High School and retired from Stark Federal Credit Union after 23 years of service. She is survived by her husband, Douglas J. Murphy to whom she was married 52 years; two children, Jennifer (Brian) Frenz and Stephen Murphy; five grandchildren, Stevie Frenz, Emma, Molly, Mason and Samantha Murphy; daughter-in-law, Melissa Murphy; three sisters, Barb McGovern, Judy Rhines and Karen Wallick.
