Betty J. Lutz, age 66, of Magnolia, died Thursday March 10, 2005 in Aultman Hospital. Daughter of the late Joseph and Edith Kuhn Hooper. She was a life resident of the Canton and Magnolia area and was a 1956 graduate of Sandy Valley High School. She retired from Crossroads General Store in 2003 after 20 years of service and was a member of East Sparta United Methodist Church. Survived by her husband, Howard E. Lutz to whom she was married 46 years; one son, Howard E. Lutz II of Canton; 3 daughters and a son-in-law, Candi Lutz and Gerald Montgomery both of Lorain, OH, Wendi Lutz of Canton, Teri and Keith Sykes of Toledo, OH; 3 grandchildren, Nicholas and Michael Montgomery, Charity Rose Lutz; 3 brothers and sisters-in-law, Joseph and Debbie Hooper of Akron, John and Marguerite Hooper of Mineral City, Eugene Swonger of Canton Twp. Funeral services will be Monday at 1:00pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave with Rev. Samuel Martin officiating. Interment in Melscheimer Cemetery. Friends may call one hour before services on Monday (12:00-1:00pm).
