Betty J. (Lautzenheiser) DeHoff Hartman
age 86 of Sevierville, Tennessee, formerly of East Canton, passed away December 21, 2016. She was born in Canton, Ohio on June 8, 1930 to the late Roy and Ida (Sluss) Lautzenheiser. Betty worked as a secretary at Eleventh Street Church of God in Canton, Ohio for 16 years. She worked as an Avon representative in Florida. After moving to Tennessee, she worked at Dollywood and volunteered at the local hospital for many years. She was a member of the Sevierville First United Methodist Church. Betty was a former member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, East Canton. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles Ralph DeHoff and Bernard Rolen Hartman; brother, Jay Lautzenheiser. She is survived by, daughter, Nancy (William) Van Voorhis of Kodak, TN; son, Dennis (Cathy) DeHoff of New Port Richey, FL; 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; sisters: Jean (David) Geyer, Pat (Gene) Yoho, Judy (Jim) Eakin; many special nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Tuesday December 27, 2016 at 1:00pm with calling hours from 11-1 p.m. in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton. Interment will follow in Sunset Hills Burial Park.
