Betty Ann Garra (McKinney), age 62, of Canton passed away on Saturday, April 14, 2007 in The Laurels of Massillon surrounded by her family following an extended illness. Born Sept. 2, 1944 in Canton, OH. She had been a resident of Melbourne, FL. and Parkersburg, WV. prior to moving back to Canton. Preceded in death by her father, Grant Heisler and brother, Rex Heisler. Leaving to cherish her memory is her mother, Betty J. Heisler of Canton; two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Susan McKinney of Canton, Ronald and Michelle Garra of Florida; one sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Richard Hickman of Mansfield; five grandchildren, Amber, Tabatha, Gage, Jensen and Amanda; several aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces. The family wishes to thank all of the nurses, aides and staff at the Laurels for all of their support over the last four years. Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at 6:00 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. with Mike Malavite officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Tuesday (5:00 - 6:00 pm).
