Age 87, of Canton died Friday, May 9, 2014 in Hospitality House following a brief illness. Born May 7, 1927 in Dearborn, MI. to the late Roy and Ella (Grant) Hoskinson. She was a Canton resident for the past 68 years and was a member of the Canton Baptist Temple. Preceded in death by her husband, Arthur B. Covert in 1999; one daughter, Cathy Hanze; one brother, Roy Hoskinson; one sister, Vera Hoskinson. She is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Judy Maney of Louisville, Debby and Joe Burick of Dover; one son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Valerie Covert of Canton; 10 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one great-great grandson; one brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Joyce Hoskinson of Woodsfield, OH; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at 10:00 am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. with Rev Delaney Young officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call Tuesday from 6-8 pm.
