Betty E. Clark
Betty E. Clark, age 90, of Canton, passed away Sunday May 25, 2008 in Aultman Hospital. She was born February 18, 1918 in Myersdale, PA. to the late John A. and Marie M. (Kemp) Walker. Betty was a Canton area resident for more than 50 years and had formerly been employed as a nurse's aid at both Aultman Hospital and Mercy Hospital. She was a faithful member of Mt. Zion Community Church where she had worked in the nursery for many years and was active in the Hattie Bair Sunday School Class and Mary Moon Circle. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Merle D. Clark in 2003, to whom she was married 54 years; three brothers, George, Emerson and Charles Walker. She is survived by three nieces, Kathy Walker of Swansboro, NC, Cindy Lemon of Massillon, Libby Walker of Carrollton; one great niece, Nicole Milliken of Cuyahoga Falls; two adopted nieces, Venetia Myers and Sherry Doebereneiner. Funeral services will be Thursday May 29, 2008 at 11:00am in the Mt. Zion Community Church with Rev. Earl Bailey officiating. Interment in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday 6-8pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home and one hour before services on Thursday at the church (10-11am). In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Mt.
