Betty R. Brechbill
Age 85, of East Canton, passed away Wednesday December 12, 2018 in Aultman Hospital. She was born October 5, 1933 in Homeworth, OH to the late Merlin and Anna (Teeters) Kimes. Betty was a 1951 graduate of Goshen High School. She was the former co-owner/ operator of Brechbill Milk Transport with her husband, Bud for more than 46 years. She was a member of the Carnation Auto Classic Car Club, served with the Stark Board of Elections as a Precinct Election Official for more than 40 years; and loved showing classic vehicles with her husband. She is preceded in death by two brothers, Walter and Kenneth Kimes; three sisters, Fern Smith, Velma Ramsayer and Helen Smith. Betty is survived by her husband, Harold E. “Bud” Brechbill to whom she was married 66 years; three daughters, Judy (Ralph) Reisinger, Linda Ailes and Carol (Barry) Pickens; six grandchildren, J.R. (Lauren) Ailes, Bryan (Sonrie) Pickens, Matthew (Andrea) Reisinger, Brad (Kari) Pickens, Renee Reisinger and Brett (Alexis) Pickens; great-grandchildren, Micah and Caleb Pickens, Sophie and Jubilee Ailes, Annabelle Reisinger and anticipating the soon arrival of two more; brother-in-law, Doug Smith. A memorial service will be Monday December 17, 2018 at 2:00pm in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with her grandson, Pastor J.R. Ailes officiating.
