Bernice V. Kinsey
Age 90, of East Canton, passed away Monday January 2, 2012 in Altercare of Louisville following an extended illness. She was born September 16, 1921 in Port Washington, OH to the late Frederick and Sarah (Adams) Wolfe. Bernice was an East Canton resident since 1954. She worked on the family farm with her husband for many years and was employed with Hercules Engines during WWII. She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ and the B&W Retirees. She was a member of the former Mapleton Homemakers Club with which she helped maintain and conduct open house at the Mapleton Church Museum. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Leslie Wolfe. She is survived by her husband, Harold V. Kinsey to whom she was married 66 years; four children, Alvin Kinsey of East Canton, Louise and John Seidel of East Canton, Diane and Steve Nowakowski of Snellville, GA, Vernon and Rebecca Kinsey of East Canton; 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; one sister, Ruth Cates of De Land, FL. Funeral services will be Friday January 6, 2012 at 11:00am in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Rev. Jenna Brown officiating. Internment in Mapleton Cemetery.
