Bernard Thomas Wingerter
Bernard "Bernie" Wingerter, age 80, of Minerva, passed away in his home. He was born March 26, 1925 in Malvern, OH, to the late Henry "Harry" and Emma (Utterback) Wingerter. Bernie was a WWII Navy veteran where he served in the Pacific Theater of Operations. He is also preceded in death by two brothers, Arthur and Walter Wingerter; two sisters, Margaret Leach and Mary Opal White. He is survived by two children, Jack Wingerter of N. Carolina, Carol Ann Cross of Kissimmee, FL; two brothers, Paul and Raymond Wingerter; numerous nieces and nephews. A private family memorial service will be in the Myers-Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton.
