Berby M."Tiny" Sandy, age 74, of Canton, died Thursday July 20, 2006. She was born February 29, 1932 in Arnoldsburg, WV, to the late William and Mary (Smith) Ratcliff. Berby was a Canton area resident for the past 72 years. She is also preceded in death by one daughter, Brenda Loar in 1994; four brothers and one sister. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Sheri and Christopher Montella of East Canton; one son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Jenny Barkhurst of Minerva; three grandchildren, Michael and Nichole Midkiff, Jennifer Sands; two great grandchildren; one brother and one sister; special friends and her care givers, Junior and Tina Drake of Canton. Funeral services will be Monday July 24, 2006 at 1:00pm in Myers-Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton. Interment in North Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday 4-6pm in the funeral home.
