Bena G. Clapper
Bena G. Clapper, age 92, of Minerva, died Tuesday September 19, 2006 in Carroll Health Care. She was born December 30, 1913 in North Hunting, PA, to the late John and Margaret (Tittle) Hild. Bena was a Minerva area resident since 1978, prior to which she had resided in Robertsville. Bena was a member of First Christian Church, Minerva, where she was active in the Minister's Class and Helping Hands. She was a member of Eastern Star Esther Chapter #120, Minerva, VFW Auxiliary Post # 1420, former president and secretary of the Minerva Area Senior Citizens, AARP and Robertsville Grange. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Robert L. Richeson; second husband, Russell Clapper; two sons, Robert H. and Albert L. Richeson; one brother, three sisters and three grandchildren. She is survived by three sons, Donald Richeson of N. Canton, Thomas L. Richeson of Arkansas, William F. Richeson of Minerva; two daughters, Beverly Everett of East Sparta, Erma Simpson of New Smyrna Beach, FL; 29 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Saturday September 23, 2006 at 10:00am in the Myers-Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Ralph Norman officiating. Interment in Robertsville Cemetery.
