Belva L. Miller
Age 84, a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother died Saturday, September 11, 2010 in Aultman Hospital following a brief illness. Born February 17, 1926 in Avery County, NC. to the late Raymond and Birdie (Burleson) McCoury. She was a Canton resident most of her life and retired from Stoll's IGA after 30 years of service. Belva was a member of Canton Baptist Temple and Local #880 Union. Preceded in death by her husband, Ike Miller in 1979; one son, Terry L. Miller; two sisters, Frankie Buchanan and Helen McCoury. Survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Ken Miller of Canton, Ike and Nancy Miller of Canton; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; two brothers and sister-in-law, John and Gladys McCoury of Canton, Robert McCoury of Canton; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2010 at 1:00 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. with Delaney Young officiating. Interment in Melscheimer Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Tuesday from 12:00-1:00 pm.
