Becky Lynn Byrd
Age 56, of Canton, passed away unexpectedly Sunday January 10, 2016. She was born May 8, 1959 in New Philadelphia, OH to Carl D. and Marlene K. (Miller) Byrd. Becky was formerly employed with Whipple-Dale Center and currently employed by the Depot. She was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Navarre. Becky had an exceptional ability to remember dates names and special occasions. She is survived by her parents, Carl and Marlene Byrd of Canton; sister and brother-in-law, Jennifer and Bill Garrettson of Massillon; brother and sister-in-law, Jeffrey and Paula Byrd of Canton; several generations of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. A memorial service will be Wednesday January 13, 2016 at 11:00am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with Rev. Elaine Tullis officiating. Friends will be received one hour before services on Wednesday (10-11am). In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Stark County Board of Developmental Disabilities at 2950 Whipple Ave NW, Canton, OH 44708.
