Barbara Marie Allen, age 83 died peacefully in her residence on February 6, 2023. She was born on July 29, 1939, in Canton, Ohio to the late Franklin Lloyd Gruber and Gladys (Jensen) Caskey. She is a graduate of Minerva High School and is formally employed by the Waynesburg Nite Club.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Martin W. Allen, daughter Deanna Allen, granddaughter Tina Roland, two sisters, and two brothers.
She is survived by seven children Crystal Chamberlain, Carrie Chamberlain, Lee Chamberlain, Marlene McKay, Melissa (Richard) Knoch, Lenny (Patty) Allen, Douglas (Miwako) Allen, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and sister Catherine (Ernest) Schwab.
A memorial visitation will be held in her honor on Saturday, February 11, 2023, from 9 - 11 a.m. in the Sanders Funeral Home. Following the visitation, a memorial gathering will be held at the Varian Orchards-Apple Barrel Room located at; 6344 Orchard View Dr SE, East Canton, OH 44730.
