B. Maxine Carpenter
Age 88, of Louisville, OH, passed away Wednesday December 27, 2017 in Aultman Hospital. She was born December 2, 1929 in Belmont, OH to the late Delbert and Bessie (Gatten) Owens. Maxine attended NewPointe Community Church and formerly was very active at Canton First Free Methodist Church. She enjoyed her daily exercise programs with various T.V. personalities throughout the years. In addition to her parents, Maxine is preceded in death by her grandparents who raised her, James W. and Laura Owens; one half-sister, Theresa Owens; her husband, Bay R. Carpenter who passed June 3, 2017. She is survived by two sons, Jeffery Carpenter and Phillip Carpenter; two grandchildren, Sara (Andy) Terrell and Chad Carpenter; two great-grandchildren, Quentin and Silas Terrell; one sister, Bettie Catron; two half-sisters, Shirley Coen and Patricia Owens; two half-brothers, Cecil and Delbert Owens Jr. Funeral services will be Wednesday January 3, 2018 at 10:00am in Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home. Burial will be at 2:00pm Wednesday at Bend Fork Cemetery, Belmont, OH. Friends and family will be received Tuesday 4-7pm in the funeral home.
