Audrey Jean Rexrode
Audrey Jean Rexrode, age 83, of Canton, died Thursday May 26, 2005 in Hennis Care Centre in Bolivar following an extended illness. Born July 11, 1921 in Uhrichsville, OH, to the late Edward F. and Hazel (Carpenter) Bruce. She was a Canton area resident most of her life and served as a Licensed Practical Nurse with Aultman Hospital, Sumser Retirement Village and The Convalescent Home. Member of Robertsville Wesleyan Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Frank E. "Bud" Bruce; one sister, Vera McNeal. Survived by her husband of 65 years, Rev. Paul M. Rexrode; one daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Larry Hart of Hartville; one son, Mark E. Rexrode of Canton; five grandchildren, Larry Hart Jr., Terry Hart, Julie Haines, Mary Jean Rexrode and Marky Rexrode; six great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 31, 2005 at 1:00 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. with Rev. David Cope officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call one hour before services on Tuesday (12 - 1:00pm).
