Arthur D. Waers
Age 69, of Dalton, OH, passed away unexpectedly Saturday April 5, 2014 in Aultman Hospital following a brief illness. He was born May 12, 1944 in Canton to the late Elias and Mildred (Vincent) Waers. Arthur was formerly a resident of East Canton and a graduate of East Canton High School. He had served in the Army National Guard. Arthur retired from the Hoover Company in 2002 after 34 years of service. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three brothers, Ray "Whitey", Lawrence "Toby" and Foster "Kurt" Waers. He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Andrew and Tammy Waers of Magnolia; one grandson, Lucas Lowdermilk; one granddaughter, Lythia Lowdermilk; one great-granddaughter, Olivia Fisher; one brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Marjorie Waers of East Canton; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Florence Lillie of East Canton, Donna and Wilbur Deaton of Waco and Shirley Walker of Canton. Funeral services will be Wednesday April 9, 2014 at 10:00am in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton. Friends may call Tuesday 6-8pm in the funeral home.
