Arlie A. Goad
Age 86, of Canton died Saturday, November 24, 2012 in Aultman Hospital. Born April 12, 1926 in Dugspur, VA. to the late Ellis and Lila (Dalton) Goad. He was a Canton area resident most of his life and a U.S. Navy WWII veteran. Arlie retired from the Timken Company with over 40 years of service. He was a member of the Canton Baptist Temple. Preceded in death by his wife, Lillian A. Goad in 2000 and several brothers and sisters. He is survived by one step-son, David Ringer of Canton; two granddaughters; five great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; several brothers and sisters; numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be Wed., Nov. 28, 2012 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of North Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Delaney Young officiating.
