Archie J. "Jack" Loy, age 74, of East Canton, died Saturday, May 7, 2005 in Aultman Hospital following an extended illness. Son of the late Archie D. and Ivory M. (Currie) Loy and was an East Canton resident for the past 43 years. He retired from Love Furniture Company in 1988 after 15 years of service and was formerly employed by Superior Dairy. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by three sons, Kevin, Benjamin, and Stephen Loy, one daughter Diane Loy and one brother Thomas Loy. He is survived by his wife, Oranna (Martin)to whom he was married 55 years; four daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce and Rich Swad of Navarre, Roseann and Jay Widder of East Canton, Janeen Loy-Stiffler of East Canton, Tricia and Keith Griffin of East Canton; one son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Kelly Loy of East Canton; one daughter-in-law, Karen Loy of Hartville; 17 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Ramona Mullenaux of Canton, Marlene and Ralph Bittler of Canton. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1 PM in the Myers-Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Rev. Jon Hayes officiating. Interment in Mapleton Cemetery. Friends may call Monday 6-9PM and one hour before services on Tuesday (12-1PM).
