Antoinette M. "Toni" Bird
Age 76, of Alliance, passed away Tuesday September 18, 2012 in the Mercy Medical Center following an extended illness. She was born June 13, 1936 in Waynesburg, OH to the late Serafino and Rose (DeAngelo) Pallottini. Toni was a Canton area resident most of her life and retired from McKinley Life Care Centre in 2003 after 15 years of service. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Louisville. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one grandson, John W. Bird Jr.; three sisters, Connie Valentine, Sylvia Facchiano and Ann Sprunger; one brother, Samual Pallottini. She is survived by her husband, James E. Bird Sr. with whom she celebrated 60 years of marriage; five children, Teresa Presutti (Sheryl Kenner), John W. (Brenda) Bird Sr., Victoria (Harold "Haze") Thompson, James E. (Bobbi) Bird Jr., Jeffrey S. (Davonne) Bird; 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Theresa Waseity, Mary Unrue, Norma Miskimens and Patricia Krabile. Funeral services will be Saturday September 22, 2012 at 10:00am in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Fr. Thomas Bishop officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
